Whether it’s routers that enable media serving to multiple, removable media types or gateways that provide a ”TV Everywhere” experience to consumers, the Twonky Server from Lynx Technology enables today’s most advanced media connectivity capabilities in our customers’ products and services.

Twonky Server is designed to be embedded in router and gateway products and does not require any further development (saving engineering time and related costs).

Twonky Server allows consumers to share media by enabling CE manufacturers to integrate Digital Media Server (DMS) and Mobile Digital Media Server (M-DMS) capabilities into their devices. With Twonky, the router or gateway will be able to discover other devices and media content as well as to stream non-DRM protected audio, video and photo media types to supported devices.

The Twonky Server offers DLNA and UPnP server capability and is developed in the ’C’ programming language to yield efficient binaries.
